FEF MENTORS

Beyond financial challenges, many students do not have family or community members to provide
encouragement or guidance, and they confront tremendous challenges to staying on track with their
education.
Our mentor network consists of highly qualified professionals who are dedicated to volunteering their
time to help students who have qualified for FEF sponsorships. Their aim is not only to support the
student’s academic achievement but also to provide guidance and support for any outside-the-
classroom challenges the student may be facing. Mentorship can foster a sense of community and civic
responsibility in the students, in addition to increasing the odds of academic success.
